ATI and SNMP Research team up for embedded networking package

August 25, 2000

Accelerated Technology Inc. (Mobile, AL) has signed an OEM agreement with SNMP Research International (Knoxville, TN) to resell and support the combined technology of EMANATE/Lite and Nucleus embedded software. The integration will allow users to remotely monitor and configure network devices.

The Nucleus PLUS Kernel and Nucleus NET TCP/IP protocol stacks, scalable with a small memory footprint, provide the foundation for the EMANATE/Lite integration.

"We have found that the best way to assist our customers in getting to market quickly with reliable embedded software is to focus on our core competencies. These include Nucleus PLUS and Nucleus NET, our high performance kernel and networking stack. By finding knowledgeable third parties like SNMP Research to supply our customers with the additional middleware they need, we eliminate the need to expand our core technologies to a place where we might be unable to maintain them adequately," says Neil Henderson, president of Accelerated Technology.
