ATM-Watch

Alpha Systems Lab, Inc. (ASL) has introduced a surveillance system for the banking industry designed especially for use at automated teller machines (ATMs). ATM-Watch allows bank officials to search for digitally recorded footage of transactions at ATM machines by simply inputting the transaction number. Not only will ATM-Watch cut down on fraud, it will also save some of the cost and time associated with bank security.

Previously, the process of tracking down a video taped-recording of a transaction proved an arduous task. But now, with ATM-Watch, bank officials need only punch in the correct transaction number or time and date, and the digitally-stored footage of a fraudulent procedure shows exactly what has happened. With criminals not being able to count on a bank automatically refunding a disputed amount, there will be less of a temptation to file a claim in the first place. Summary of some of ATM-Watch's unique capabilities: · Store transaction data from ATM's and teller stations along with video information, compressed and encrypted to store 6 months of transactions on 1GB of storage medium
