The Andrea USB Array Microphone is optimized to run on a host Pentium processor and is compatible with any speech application running on Windows 98 Second Edition and Windows 2000. Andrea Electronics Corporationtronics' software algorithms adaptively focus on and enhance the user's voice while electronically eliminating background noise that would distort the voice signal. Together, the USB platform and proprietary noise canceling technologies create a high performance audio input solution for users of voice-operated applications who seek an easy-to-use, accurate microphone.

In addition to the Andrea USB Array, Andrea Electronics Corporationtronics recently introduced a USB headset, the Andrea NC-7100, which utilizes USB integrated electronics to provide plug-and-play connectivity -7100 USB headset incorporates proprietary noise canceling microphone technology in a cost-effective solution which enables clear digital audio input for all speech-enabled applications, including speech recognition, chat, voice-enabled web browsing and online gaming, with USB-enabled PCs or Macintosh computers. The Andrea NC-7100 is currently being bundled by IBM with its ViaVoice for Macintosh, Enhanced Edition speech recognition software product.
