Provides Wireless Access to Live Streaming Digital Video
Details

The ArielNet AN-3300 Wireless LAN provides a wireless networking option for the InCharge System 3000 remote-access digital video surveillance system. The ArielNet AN-3300 Wireless LAN consists of a Station Adapter which connects to the user's PC or laptop computer, and an Access Point connected to the InCharge Server. Use of the ArielNet AN-3300 Wireless LAN enables creation of digital video networks without the need to lay any networking cable. This makes it ideal for quick and easy set-up and removal for public event monitoring and for the creation of temporary surveillance situations.

The ArielNet AN-3300 Wireless LAN enables remote viewing of digital video from laptop computers located in moving vehicles. For example, locomotives equipped with the ArielNet AN-3300 Wireless LAN could view the traffic situation at upcoming railroad crossings from up to six miles away, providing them with enough stopping distance to avoid tragedies. Security patrol vehicles equipped with the ArielNet AN-3300 Wireless LAN could permit inspection via live digital views inside the building of interest without leaving the vehicle, thereby increasing a security force's efficiency.

Use of a focused-beam antenna permits the ArielNet AN-3300 Wireless LAN to provide digital video observation of important-but-inaccessible locations. For example, the entry gate of a vast estate could wirelessly transmit live video in a focused beam to a PC or laptop in a distant building. In a weatherproof, outdoor-mounted configuration, the ArielNet AN-3300 permits wireless perimeter monitoring using a focused-beam antenna.
