May 10, 2000

<%=company1%> has licensed Citrix Systems, Inc. Independent Computing Architecture (ICA), a core Citrix application server technology. BSQUARE will integrate Citrix ICA into its software solutions to provide server-based computing capability to developers of Windows-based Terminals.

"Providing Citrix ICA as part of our comprehensive solution is a natural fit for BSQUARE's strategy of one-stop-shopping for Windows-based Terminal development software," said Jeff McLeman, Business Unit Director of BSQUARE's Thin Client Group. "Citrix ICA is a great product which is in high demand, and through the new arrangement our customers can come to a single point, BSQUARE, to receive all of the software and service they require in developing Windows-based Terminals."

According to research published by International Data Corporation, by 2002 the Windows-based Terminal portion of the thin client market will grow to over 3 million units and represent 74.1% of the total thin client market.

BSQUARE's Windows-based Terminal Software Solution is available as a turnkey Windows CE solution with complete hardware support for National Semiconductor's Geode and Bcom WinNET hardware platforms. The platform support includes a full featured OS loader with customizable OEM splash screen, high performance display drivers with resolutions to 1280x1024, robust Ethernet drivers, automatic UUID generation, M-Systems' DiskOnChip and persistent registry support, USB support and international keyboard drivers for most locales.

Also available for integration with the kit are: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 browser with custom user interface enhancements, Insignia Jeode Java Solution, and FutureSoft and other terminal emulation applications. These platform capabilities can also be adapted to custom OEM hardware designs as a service. All components are thoroughly tested using BSQUARE's CEValidator quality assurance tools.
