<%=company1%> has announced plans to open its first Asian office this winter. Located in Tokyo, Enea OSE Systems KK will become fully operational in February 2001. By establishing a presence in Japan, Enea OSE Systems will be able to offer its local customers increased service and support, as well as increase its Asian sales and distributor relationships.

The opening of an Enea OSE Systems office in Japan is a long-term strategic initiative. The Japanese market is important to Enea OSE Systems' business goals. It is estimated that long-term revenue from Japan could eventually account for over 15% of Enea OSE Systems' worldwide revenue.

The new office, located at 1-4-2 Kanda Ogawa-machi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, will consist of six full-time staff during its first year of operations. With this Asian expansion, Enea OSE Systems hopes to build upon the existing Japanese market for the OSE realtime operating system (RTOS), providing technology and services to the rapidly growing embedded development sector. Enea OSE Systems will work closely with Softboat in a Tokyo-based reseller partnership.
