The Raptor EBX industrial design was developed by American Predator Corporation to provide ultimate space-saving versatility for embedded OEMs. Its design fits into tight and narrow spaces of diverse embedded applications, offering a compact, yet powerful single-board computer. It is based on the Intel® 440BX chipset, supporting single Intel Pentium II®Celeron® PPGA (Plastic Pin Grid Array) 300, 300A, 333, 366, 400, 433, 466, 500 and 533MHz processors and PIII up to 800Mhz.

Its standard configuration features on-board video with LCD/CRT controller (2-4MB), an audio interface (optional feature), and on-board ethernet 10BASE-T/100Mbits (Intel 82559ER) with support for Wake-On-Lan function. It also offers complete I/O, featuring two USB interfaces, and ULTRA-DMA/EIDE capability, allowing high speed data transfer.

The Raptor EBX supports DIMM memory modules up to a total of 256MB registered or 128MB unregistered SDRAM.

It also integrates one Disk-on-Chip™ up to 144MB allowing its use as diskless workstations in harsh environments that are subject to shock and vibration. It replaces a standard hard disk that is often subject to data errors and easily damaged under these conditions.

Other exciting industrial features on this genuine APC design, is the on-board 2 digit seven-segment LED display for self-diagnostics & custom applications and a software/hardware watchdog timer.

American Predator products are specifically engineered to operate under diverse temperature ranges, dust, vibration and shock conditions. APC guarantees product longevity of five to eight years of production life cycle for all designs.
