The Hurricane PCI Evaluation Kit from V3 Semiconductor includes software tools and technical support that provide embedded system designers with a ready-made solution for high-performance embedded PCI applications using the popular MIPS processor. This kit is an efficient way of assessing the performance and flexibility of the V320USC chip. In addition, the Hurricane is a proven platform to develop application software during hardware development, substantially reducing the design cycle.

- Configurable for system master, PCI bus master, and PCI bus target operation
- Separate PCI initialization serial EEPROM and general purpose serial EEPROM
- Supports up to 1 Gbyte of memory; 32 Mbytes of SDRAM DIMM
- Up to 4 Mbytes of user flash and 512 Kbytes of boot flash
- Up to 4 Kbit user serial EEPROM
- Dual serial communications controllers for host interface
