PHYTEC is engaged in the development, production and distribution of microcontroller hardware and software. With annual sales of more than 100,000 microcontroller-based Single Board Computers and associated products, PHYTEC is one of the largest OEM suppliers of this technology in Germany and Europe.

PHYTEC's microcontroller modules have been implemented in a variety of industrial measurement, process regulation and control developments. Machine and process engineers confronted with the task of developing a complex monitoring/control system under time constraints are the prime beneficiaries of our microcontroller devices.

PHYTEC was established in 1986 by Karl Neubecker, who is also the founder of ELTEC Elektronik GmbH. Both companies are headquartered in Mainz, a short distance from Germany's commercial center of Frankfurt.
