Analogic DCP announces the availability of TurboLab-FAST, a data acquisition and analysis software package for its FASTSeries product family. When combined with Analogic's 16-bit, 1 MHz FAST Series data acquisition hardware, it creates a Windows-based data acquisition and analysis systems available for the PC.
Analogic Corporation
Configuration and data acquisition parameters are set up through TurboLab's pull-down menu system. Real-time graphical data presentation is supported with acquisition rates up to 1 MHz, and sample sizes up to 8 MSamples. Data may be processed immediately after acquisition or written to TurboLab data files. Other viewing functions include zooming, extracting, concatenating, overlaying, and statistical measurement. More than 70 additional functions are provided for signal analysis, including infinite impulse response (IIR) or user-defined filters, polynomial curve-fitting, interpolation, FFT calculations with windowing, auto spectrum, cross spectrum, impulse response, and more.
Analogic Corporation
TurboLab-FAST will support up to two Analogic FAST Series boards. With a two-board set up, it will acquire up to 8 MSamples of data from each board, with a per-board sampling rate of 1 MHz. Key performance characteristics of 84 dB minimum SNR, -88 dB maximum total harmonic distortion (THD), and 0.003% full scale range relative accuracy are maintained regardless of system configuration. Simultaneous sample and hold (SSH), as well as other data acquisition options are available.
