PILOT-1600 Multi-Site, Multi-Package Production Programmer

PILOT-1600 is an advanced production programmer capable of programming up to 16 devices at a time. It supports the newest and biggest memory devices, currently up to 64-MEG bits, from Altera, Atmel, Intel, AMD, Fujitsu, Microchip, Sharp, ST, SST, etc. A variety of Advin-made interchangeable gang modules are available to support a wide range of device and package types, eg. DIP, PLCC, TSOP, TSSOP, SOIC, SSOP, etc. Currently, Microchip PICs and serial PROMs can be programmed up to 16 devices at a time while EPROMs and FLASH can be programmed up to 8 devices simultaneously.

PILOT-1600 interfaces to the PC host through the standard parallel port and there is no need to install interface cards inside the PC, making it easily portable from computer to computer. Supplied software is user-friendly and provides plenty of useful functions such as reading from a data file, reading from a master, buffer examine and edit, device examine and verify, high and low voltage verify, device securing, automatic generation of serial numbers, etc. Macro files can be setup easily, translating into simple operation for non-technical personnel and perfect for the manufacturing environment.
