Saelig Introduces Rugged Fanless 8th/9th Gen iCore Amplicon Impact-E 280DIO Controllers

The Impact-E 280DIO series is a compact, low power embedded system, utilizing Intel 8th and 9th generation mobile iCore processing technology to achieve high processing power with minimal power draw and multiple IO features.

Saelig Company, Inc. has introduced the customizable Amplicon Impact-E 280DIO series of fanless embedded PCs that feature Intel 8th and 9th generation iCore processors, supported by high bandwidth DDR4 memory. The Impact-E 280 embedded PC system has multiple I/O choices available at the rear panel as well as eight digital I/O lines available on the top for convenient installation accessibility. The fanless E280-DIO has a remote On/Off capability, giving it the ability to be installed deep inside industrial equipment. Amplicon provides a 3-year warranty and is also committed to long availability with the Impact-E 280DIO’s 15 year life cycle.

Housed in a compact 7.9” x 3.5” x 8.7” black extruded aluminum case, the unit weighs 6.2lb. This compact system allows expansion for additional solid state or mechanical hard drives and both mPCIe and M.2 modules. It supports two independent high resolution displays (DP++ with resolution up to 4096x2304 @ 60Hz, HDMI with resolution to 3840x2160 @30Hz).
