The SBC-456 (non-Ethernet) and 456E (with Ethernet), from Aaeon Technology (Hazlet, NJ), are half-size AMD DX5-133 CPU cards with a VGA/LCD interface. These boards have an ISA bus interface for use with backplanes or can be used as stand-alone controllers. They feature a CHIPS 6550 VGA controller for CRT and flat panel displays, two 72-pin DRAM sockets handling up to 64 MB, two COM ports -- (1) RS-232, (1) RS-232/422/485, a PC/104 connector, 10Base Ethernet controller (456E only)and integrated DiskOnChip socket for memory storage, a multimode parallel port (SPP/EPP/ECP) -- can be LPT1 to 3. And an enhanced IDE controller with PIO modes 3&4, bus mastering. The system has been certified by Annasoft Systems to run Windows CE and Jump Start.
