With more than 11,000 installations in telecommunications, avionics, medical instrumentation, automotive products and industrial control/automation, CAD-UL software products are used by more than 50,000 developers around the world. CAD-UL is an ISO 9000 certified company and has four primary business units: Embedded Tools, Electronic Services, EDA-System Ariadne, and Embedded System Integrator Service.

Embedded Tools
The Embedded Tools division develops high-end embedded software development systems for 80x86/Pentium®/K6®, Motorola 680X0/68XXX, and Motorola ColdFire target processors. The CAD-UL tool chain includes C/C++ compilers (native and cross), assemblers, linkers, libraries, simulators, code coverage tools, and high-level language debuggers, all tightly coupled with an integrated development environment called Workbench.

Electronic Services
The Electronic Services unit specializes in hardware development services for customer-specific component groups and systems for measuring, control, monitoring applications, and telecommunications from concept to production stage.

Embedded System Integrator Service
This division builds on the expertise of CAD-UL's Embedded Tools and Electronic Services units to provide custom hard- and software embedded development solutions. Services available include RTOS board support, driver implementation, hardware design/development, and software verification and certification.

EDA-System Ariadne
The Ariadne EDA System from CAD-UL offers a complete solution for all electronic development needs and consists of a schematic capture module, PCB layout system, 100% autorouter, and CAM editor. The individual modules can be used as stand alone tools, or together as a complete solution.
