CBU Single Board Computer

Trenton Technology Inc.BU SBC with the Intel Flexible Socket 370 package has a dual SCSI interface, which supports both Ultra160 and legacy drives without sacrificing transfer rates. The CBU features the Intel 440BX AGPset and on-board video, which are part of Intel's Applied Computing Products Division. Optionally, users can get the CBU with a 440GX AGPset, which gives you up to 1GB memory and the same Intel long-life support. By utilizing Intel's Flexible Socket 370, the CBU is available with an Intel Pentium III processor or Celeron processor.

The CBU features dual PCI EIDE Ultra DMA/33 interfaces which are capable of supporting up to four IDE type 4 disk drives, and synchronous DMA mode transfers up to 33MB per second. The two dual in-line memory module (DIMM) sockets support auto detection of Synchronous DRAM (SDRAM) memory up to 1GB.

The dual SCSI interfaces support two concurrently operating channels and burst data to the host at speeds of up to 160MB per second, providing critical high-speed connectivity. Simultaneous Initiator and Target mode operation is also supported.

Other on-board features include dual 10/100Base-T Ethernet interfaces, which provide the needed connectivity for today's applications, and an AGP Super VGA video interface with 4MB of display memory for smoother full-screen, full-motion video.

Completing the CBU are two high-speed independently programmable FIFO(16C550) serial ports, floppy interface, parallel port, PS/2 mouse port, keyboard port and two USB 1.0 ports. A system hardware monitor provides monitoring of system voltages, temperature and fan speed. The CBU is fully compliant with the PCI Local Bus 2.1 and PICMG(r) 2.0 Specifications.
