cPCIS-3120/3140 CompactPCI Chassis Subsystem

The cPCIS-3120/3140 fault resilient line of CompactPCI (cPCI) systems is an 8U-high compartmentalized 19 in. rack mount chassis with rear entry access to backplane I/O. Separated in three compartments, this series deploys a single board computer (SBC), 7 peripheral CompactPCI boards, 2 front access removable fans, and hard disk drives, CD-ROM and floppy.

The system design is suitable for applications in Networking, Telecommunication, Computer Telephony Integration, Image Processing and Industrial Automation computer platforms.

In cPCIS-3120/3140 Series' front and rear-accessed design with securable doors, three basic compartments provide accommodating room for a complete CTI subsystem. Each system can be designed using cPCI-6200 or cPCI-6700 standard 6U CompactPCI's with PentiumII or Celeron processors and versatile backplane options of 32-bit front I/O version to 64-bit CTI with rear I/O version. In the other two areas of the chassis, the subsystem can house up to three 5.25 in. and one 3.5 in. drive bays and front access to power supplies and high-powered cooling fans.
