Annasoft's Embedded Initiative The TB 486, from DSP Design (Chesterfield, England) is an highly integrated, PC-compatible PC/104 processor module, from DSP Design, capable of running Windows CE and other PC operating systems. It uses the low power AMD Elan processor at speeds up to 100 MHz and supports up to 64M bytes DRAM and 4M bytes of Flash memory. It has a full set of PC peripherals, serial and parallel ports, keyboard and mouse, floppy, IDE and Compact Flash. Its Ethernet and graphics interfaces (flat panel and CRT) make it suited to POS, kiosk, terminal and man-machine interface applications.
