The DSP system architecture quicComm is designed to provide a communications solution for TMS320C6202/C6203-based DSP systems
Spectrum Signal Processingtem architecture quicComm is designed to provide a communications solution for TMS320C6202/C6203-based DSP systems, which will be used in applications requiring high data transfer rates and high performance. It is an expandable, system-level architecture that increases processor density and bandwidth and eases software development. The architecture provides inter/intra-board communications between DSPs, DSP-to-Host and DSP-to-I/O. It addresses DSP-to-I/O communications by extending the architecture using a PMC module to allow I/O data transfer rates in excess of 1.6 GBytes/s. Solano ASIC design forms the basis of the architecture.
