EBSnet Releases ARM Software Development Kits

EBSnet,an established provider of embedded Internet software since 1987,announced the release of their ARM Software Development Kits.EBSnet 's ARM SDK provides the Cirrus Logic CDK238 development kit with LCD display from Cogent Computer Systems,with the MetaWare Arm compiler and debugger.The kit comes complete with embedded software components including the RTKernel RTOS for ARM from EBSnet and On Time Informatik,the TCP-IP network stack and Internet application suite from EBSnet,and the DOS compatible real time file system from EBS,Inc.EBSnet also offers an ARM SDK specifically for GUI developers that includes the EBSnet HTML GUI SDK and Web browser with Swell Software 's PEG graphics library.The EBSnet ARM SDKs will provide embedded device developers a complete compact solution for their Internet appliance.

The evaluation board contains a Cirrus Logic EP7312 Maverick highly integrated ARM chip,on board JTAG support,a 10base-T Ethernet controller,a quarter VGA color LCD display,and keyboard,mouse,ATA and smartmedia connectors.All software is provided with full source code,is fully integrated,and runs out of the box on the board.All the necessary documentation and libraries that are needed to build Arm based Internet enabled applications are included.
