DY 4 Systems Inc.d F-18E/F Fighter's Advanced Mission Computer and Display (AMCD) system includes four of the company's single board computers, the PowerPC-based DMV-179. Connecting the processors to the rest of the avionics system will be a PMC-642 Fibre Channel Network Interface mezzanine module, part of the company's Channel 1 system area network architecture. DY 4 Systems Inc. replaces the existing F-18 Mission Processor, the AYK-14.
