Green Hills Software to acquire InterNiche Technologies

<%=company1%> announced that it will acquire InterNiche Technologies, a leading provider of embedded Internet and networking software. The acquisition, accomplished through a stock swap, is slated for Q2 of 2001. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

InterNiche offers a full line of software for adding Internet connectivity to embedded systems. Utilized by leading computer, telecom, industrial, and consumer electronics companies worldwide, InterNiche's products include a TCP/IP protocol stack, web server (WebPort), World Wide Web browser (NicheView) servers for POP3 e-mail, TELNET, DHCP and FTP, routing protocols (NATrouter and PPP), and SNMP network management software.

Green Hills' INTEGRITY and ThreadX real-time operating systems provide full support for InterNiche's embedded Internet products, making it easy to add Internet connectivity to a broad range of mission-critical and deeply embedded systems. INTEGRITY is a ROMable, flashable, high-availability, fault-tolerant RTOS optimized for mission-critical, high-availability applications such as telecom/datacom, defense, medical, and aerospace systems. Green Hills' MULTI 2000 Integrated Development Environment automates all aspects of software development for most major RISC and CISC microprocessors and DSPs.
