GW2601 6U CompactPCI Celeron/Dual Pentium III CPU

The GW2601 is a 6U CompactPCI System Master CPU, designed to deliver the high performance and bandwidth demanded by many of today's telecom, Internet and industrial control applications. The CPU remains affordable through the utilization of the Intel 440BX chipset and cost-effective SDRAM.

The GW2601 supports single Intel Celeron processors operating to 533 MHz or single/dual Intel Pentium III processors operating up to 850MHz. Program and data storage are supported with up to 768 Mbytes of SDRAM and 128 Mbytes of CompactFlash. Additional features include dual 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet, PMC expansion, 64-bit AGP Video, Ultra DMA IDE, 1.44 Mbyte floppy, USB, RS-232 serial ports, parallel port, mouse and keyboard. Other features include serial port console redirection, battery backed real-time clock, CPU temperature monitors, and watchdog timer.

The computing core of the GW2601 is based around the Intel Socket 370 processor family and the Intel 440BX chipset, both in the embedded roadmap of Intel. The socket 370 affords full scalability on the GW2601 from single Celeron to dual Pentium III's. This CPU meets and exceeds the demands of high performance servers in telecommunication and Internet applications.
