IAR visualSTATE Composer

The new Composer includes some of the major features from visualSTATE making it possible for developers to graphically design and simulate their systems – for free.

IAR visualSTATE Composer is a fully working tool for design of UML statecharts, test and simulation. With the Composer embedded software engineers get an efficient tool for handling even the most complex development tasks: It creates overview, and offers advanced simulation and test facilities by which any flaws in design can be detected.

The Composer can be applied as an integral tool in the development cycle, from specification to documentation of the software design, for all embedded solutions. It is of course fully compatible with the complete package of visualSTATE tools, which may be bought later on.

The full version of visualSTATE includes patented tools for complete formal verification and code generation based on the design. Application development with visualSTATE gives reliable, tested and fully executable code, which can run directly in any target. A 20-state demo, a tutorial, and documentation for the full version of visualSTATE is included on the CD containing the Composer.
