IMP, Inc., designs, manufactures and markets standard-setting analog integrated circuits and specialty analog wafer foundry services for data communications and power management applications in computer, communications and control systems.

Power management products include electroluminescent (EL) lamp drivers, low dropout voltage regulators, Universal Serial Bus (USB) high-side switches, microprocessor supervisors and high-frequency SMPS controllers.

Data communications ICs focus on state-of-the-art SCSI terminators for single ended and LVD/multi-mode applications.

IMP offers a wide range of analog power management and data communications products that are improved alternate sources to Dallas Semiconductor, GMT Microelectronics, Linfinity, Maxim, Micrel, Unitrode, Sipex, Supertex and TelCom Semiconductor.

In addition, IMP also offers wafer foundry services to fabless semiconductor and semiconductor firms. Processes available include BiCMOS, CMOS and EEPROM technologies.

High-voltage manufacturing experience includes 30V BiCMOS processes for audio and power management applications, 100V for display and lamp drivers, and custom power programs from 300V to 600V.
