Jungo expands Hardware Debugger's capabilities to target Hardware Development Market

Jungo announced today the release of Hardware Debugger – a graphical tool for hardware detection and diagnostics. Until now, Jungo's software tools have targeted the software developer's market; Jungo is now extending its range of tools to address the needs of the hardware developers. DriverWizard, a graphical hardware diagnostics tool, while still included with WinDriver and KernelDriver, is now also featured as a stand-alone product called Hardware Debugger, which allows immediate hardware access capabilities through a graphical application under Linux, Solaris, Windows 95,98, ME, NT and 2000.
Hardware Debugger is a "Point & Click" application which allows detection of USB / PCI / Compact PCI / ISA / ISA PnP / EISA hardware and it's resources, without having to develop a driver. Hardware Engineers presented with untested hardware will be able to access their hardware's memory and IO ranges, listen to interrupts, define and access registers, in order to diagnose, verify and debug new hardware. Hardware Debugger for USB allows monitoring and transferring of data through pipes.
Hardware Debugger includes a remote access capability, which enables developers to access hardware on any remote target machine from a host machine, via any network connection (LAN, WAN, Dialup etc.) Developers can test and diagnose hardware (including USB devices) from the host machine. Remote Hardware Debugger can currently be installed on any target machine, running Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/NT Embedded, Windows CE, Linux, Solaris, VxWorks and OS/2. The host machine can run under Windows NT/2000, Linux and Solaris.
