APW's Micro Base Stations are designed to accomodate a complete mini BTS transceiver system and can be found in field, roof-top, and streetside installations. Typical applications are radio base stations or fixed radio access where space is at a premium.
Our Micro Base Stations are flexible, secure and field proven, with thousands already installed. They can be single or double skinned with the option of full installation, and each one has single or multiple compartments to accomodate base station equipment, batteries, electronics, and electrical distribution.
In addition to a flexible internal configuration, other options include single, double or multiple doors, 19"/ETSI rack mounts,a battery tray in the base, and various thermal management solutions.

In common with all APW products, the Micro Base Stations perform to the highest sandards of security with the option of multi-point locking.Complementary bevelled hinges featuring internal hinge pins enhance the high levels of security.

Our Micro Base Stations are available in aluminium, various stainless steels, and Galvatite(tm).This latter material is cost-effective, durable and offers excellent adhesion to the paint finish. Inner panels are clean finish galvanized, while outer panels are coated in polyester powder, finished to the customers choice of colour.

Thermal Management
Thermal management is important in the prevention of downtime as equipment can be badly affected by fluctuations in temperature. Our capability ranges from the prevention of low temperatures and condensation to the removal of heat and the provision of a thermally stable environment. Thermal testing can be carried out on-site in addition to pre-delivery checks. Because we work closely with APW McLean to develop reliable and sophisticated answers to customer's needs, our products are ideal for countries with wide temperature changes between summer and winter
