The Model P228 PC-card reader/writer for PCI Bus applications offers support under Windows 95, 98 and NT for all PC cards, including those requiring interrupt control. It uses a single expansion slot to allow two Type I and II cards, or one Type III card to be inserted. The reader supports memory (SRAM, flash and ATA) and I/O (DAQ, modem, GPS, LAN, etc.) PCMCIA 8-bit and 16-bit-compliant PC Cards. The hardware design provides protection for shorts and overcurrents on all address, data and power rails, enabling the drives to be used for card testing application production. Other twin and single readers are available for internal and external applications.
