Many embedded applications require 1553 protocol. parvus introduces two new PC/104 boards to its VersiNet family to meet these needs. Combining both Ethernet and 1553 communications onto a single board, the parvus VersiNet 1553/Ethernet Interface board provides two of the most widely used communications protocols in one product. The Ethernet portion is 10 Mbit, NE2000-compliant. The 1553 portion is a full function, single channel implementation. The VersiNet 1553/Dual Interface card implements a full function, two channel 1553 design for cost-effective PC/104 applications.
