The PC7compact is a rugged all-in-one embedded computer with integrated power supply, installed in a very compact EMI protected metal housing supporting DIN rail mounting.

It is designed to meet the needs of embedded applications such as machine control, communication, data-processing, data acquisition etc. It addresses Industrial Automation, Military, Medical and similar markets.

Supported operating systems are Windows 98/NT/NTembedded, MS-DOS, QNX, VxWorks, Linux and others.

The all-in-one concept with a Celeron processor (up to 500MHz) and RAM configurations (up to 256MB,SDRAM) and an impressive array of peripherals includes video interface for VGA (up to 1600x1200), LCD and PanelLink, Ethernet (10BaseT and 100BaseTX), HDD, FlashDrive, floppy and two PCcard slots, three PC/104+ extension slots.

Combined with a custom specific assembly service provides optimized price / performance for all kinds of OEM applications. Special features include 4 serial channels with flexible opto-isolated RS-232 or RS-422/485 interfacing and a CANbus device.
