PICMG-Compliant SBC

The PCI-945 is PICMG-compliant industrial single board computer featuring a FlexMount mounting bracket. The computer also features a 440BX AGPset, with a 100-MHz system bus. It supports one or two Pentium II or III SECC processors with speeds from 350 MHz to 500 MHz and 512-KB ECC L2 synchronous pipelined burst cache. The computer addresses applications where intense computational functions are required. It is intended for high-speed image processing and pattern/character-recognition applications in neural network, medical and military intelligence markets and high-performance voice recognition and data-casting applications in Computer/Internet Telephony markets.

The computer also features high-performance PCI Ultra DMA/33 IDE, Ultra Fast/Wide SCSI 3 and 10/100Base-TX Ethernet controllers and an optional 64-bit PCI SVGA CRT controller with 2-MB SDRAM memory. Three DIMM sockets provide up to 768 MB 100 MHz SDRAM or Registered SDRAM memory. The PCI peripheral and Ethernet controllers are on the PCI Bus at Level 0. In addition, it supports PCI-to-PCI bridging, and has high ISA bus drive capability. Also on-board are USB ports, serial/parallel ports and a floppy interface.
