Protel appoints CEO of newly acquired TASKING group

Protel International Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Taitel to the position of Chief Executive Officer of the newly acquired TASKING group, a world wide leader in the development of embedded software tools.

Mr Taitel will be based in TASKING's US Headquarters at Dedham, Massachusetts. During the initial transition period he will be working closely with Protel International's senior executive team to orchestrate the seamless integration of the two businesses. Prior to Protel's acquisition of TASKING, Mr Taitel was the Chief Operating Officer of TASKING's worldwide operations, and President of TASKING US. He is well respected within the Embedded Software Design community, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge about the embedded market and an extensive background in both the embedded systems industry and the management of growing companies.

With the smooth integration of the two companies, the consolidated organisation can move rapidly forward with its strategies to bring its leading brands to an even wider customer base, and seek out new areas of market penetration while continuing to strengthen its market leading position in the desktop arena.
