The Raptor AT/2 is based on the Intel 440BX chipset, featuring a Baby-AT platform industrial long-life motherboard
The Raptor AT/2 is based on the Intel 440BX chipset, featuring a Baby-AT platform industrial long-life motherboard. It supports single Intel Celeron PPGA (Plastic Pin Grid Array) processors up to 533 Mhz, 66/100 MHz SDRAM concurrent PCI and Ultra DMA with 33 MB/s burst data transfer rate. It features a solid state flash device. It can be used for diskless workstations in harsh environments that are subject to shock and vibration. The solid state flash device is a Disk-on-Chip™ with a standard 32-pin DIP package and True FFS (True Flash File System) technology which can replace a standard hard disk that is often subject to data errors and easily damaged under these conditions.
The Raptor AT/2 features four 32-bit PCI slots and four 16-bit ISA slots, two USB headers, ULTRA-DMA/EIDE capability allowing high speed data transfer, and complete on-board I/O. It supports three on-board DIMM memory modules up to a total of 768MB registered or 384MB unregistered SDRAM.
Another industrial feature on this APC design, is the on-board ethernet controller. It's based on the Intel 82559 10 Base-T/100Mbits controller with support for Wake-On-Lan function that allows remote station wake-up for maintenance and power management.
