Raptor Flex ATX Industrial Motherboard

American Predator Corporation (APC) has released the preliminary specifications of the Raptor Flex ATX. This design is based on the Intel 815E Core-Logic chipset and supports Intel Celeron and PIII PPGA (Plastic Pin Grid Array). Developed specifically for industrial applications that require a powerful engine combined with a Standard Flex ATX platform (9" X 8").

The Raptor Flex ATX can be use for industrial Rackmount workstations, Embedded Controllers, Networking Solutions and Telecom/Telco applications, in harsh environments that are subject to shock and vibration.

The Raptor Flex ATX, is the only product in the market that offers the flexibility of two 10-Base-T/100 Ethernet built-in, delivering maximum of PC standard adapters expandability along with the PCI slot expansion.

The Raptor Flex ATX features, four USB ports, ULTRA-DMA/EIDE capability allowing high speed data transfer, and complete on-board I/O. It supports two on-board DIMM memory modules up to 512MB of SDRAM memory. Also, the on-board CRT/LCD Chips & Technologies 69000 Video Controller.

Another industrial feature on this APC design, is the DUAL 10/100Mbits Ethernet controller with support for Wake-On-Lan function that allows remote station wake-up for maintenance and power management.

The applications most used for this product are: Medical, Networking, Firewall Systems, Security, Telephony, Telecommunications, Factory Automation, Point of Sale Systems, just to name a few, all based on Multiple Networking capabilities right on board.
