SystemTrace

Source: ITCN, Inc.
SystemTrace has been designed to provide global visibility into system operations by monitoring all key "data flow" media incorporated in the embedded system (backplanes, busses, discretes). This monitoring is accomplished in Real-Time using Non-Intrusive techniques so that the act of monitoring does not affect the system operation. The data files collected at the key data flow points are Time-Correlated so that dependencies on actions among system elements can be observed.

FEATURES · Time-correlated data collection · Simultaneous real-time, non-intrusive monitoring of multiple targets · Modular, distributed architecture · Long-term data acquisition & storage (20GB per Module) · Local or remote setup and control via ETHERNET (10/100 Base T) TCP/IP · Common GUI for all targets · Cross-Module triggering · Run-time data displays · Complex triggers and filters · Programmable data collection scenarios · Multiple scenarios per session · Remote script API · Support for LABVIEWS BENEFITS · System-wide view of operations correlated in time aids analysis · RTNI monitoring does not affect system operation during measurements thereby giving accurate results · Supports entire life-cycle of the instrumented embedded system reducing instrumentation cost · Common GUI for dissimilar targets saves time and training investment · Multiple collection scenarios lower session costs · Collection of only "data of interest" increases length of observation time and decreases analysis time · Scalable architecture supports changing requirements · Remote monitoring of targets · Saves time and money
