Microsoft Embedded PavilionDDI SDK provides all of the tools required for a Microsoft Visual Basic programmer to interact with the UDDI registry. No knowledge of SOAP, XML, or UDDI formatting rules is required to quickly develop programs that interact with UDDI registries. Using this SDK, software developers will be able to add web service registration features to development tools, installation programs, or any other software that needs to locate and bind with remote web services.

System Requirements

  • Required disc space to download, install and operate:
    2 Megabytes of dedicated disk space is required to install and use this software.
  • Required minimum memory and processor
    For satisfactory performance on Windows 2000, 128K minimum base memory is suggested for use with Windows 2000 professional or Windows 2000 Advanced Server. Large XML documents will exhibit improved performance with additional memory.
  • Additional Requirements:
    The software depends upon the presence of the Microsoft XML parser (MSXML 2.5 or higher required)

    IMPORTANT DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

  • Select "Run this Program from its Current Location" to start the download immediately.
  • Select "Save this Program to Disk" to copy the download to your machine for installation at a later time.

    Known issues: In this first beta release of the UDDI SDK an erroneous error report is generated after the installation is complete. This error message "Unable to launch specified process" has no impact on the successful installation. This will be corrected in the 1.0 release.
