USB / 1394 Driver Development
Our research and development staff is remaining intimately familiar with development of the new USB2.0 specification to be fully capable of providing top quality software support upon its immediate release. Intelligraphics has also researched the technology and driver issues for 1394-related devices and can provide driver solutions as 1394 hardware emerges in the marketplace.
Intelligraphics has developed WDM drivers to support a number of USB hardware devices. Some of these projects include HID class drivers, scanners, video capture hardware, printers, monitors, modems, hubs, speakers, peripheral controllers and other devices. Our development team has created drivers for all versions of Windows 98 and Windows 2000. We are also familiar with the challenges of providing USB support for legacy operating systems and can work with you on viable driver solutions.
With the growth in the use of Linux, many companies are looking for USB drivers and support for USB on the Linux operating system. USB support, while present in current 2.2.x releases of Linux, is not fully functional. Several functional areas of USB, including enumeration, must be addressed in Linux in order to support the full functionality of USB hardware devices.
Intelligraphics has remained on the forefront of both Linux and USB. Our development team can work with you to maximize the available support for your USB device on the Linux platform.
