Vektrex Launches VIVID Release 2.0; IVI-COM Driver Development Toolkit Meets All IVI Foundation Specifications

Huntsville, Alabama, - October 15 th , 2002 - Vektrex Electronic Systems Inc., announced today the launch of a new version of VIVID, the software development toolkit that speeds the generation of IVI-COM compliant instrument drivers. VIVID is the first software toolkit on the market to link the many IVI Foundation specifications into a full life cycle environment that dramatically speeds development and deployment of IVI-COM drivers and reduces the time and cost required to bring high quality IVI compliant drivers to market. VIVID produces IVI-COM drivers that are fully compliant with the latest specifications approved by the IVI Foundation.

VIVID virtually eliminates coding in driver development, which dramatically increases productivity, and frees programming resources for more important tasks.
