PEP Modular Computers Inc.C8240 PowerPC-based 3U VME processor board features an on-chip FPU and PCI interface. The board has 200- or 250-MHz processors, up to 128 MB of SDRAM with optional ECC, up to eight-MB direct soldered Flash and an option for either 512-KB NVRAM or 144-MB Disk-on-Chip. In addition, it has an onboard serial I/O, Fast Ethernet and a PCI expansion connector. An Intel 82559 Fast Ethernet controller, with an integrated 10/100 Mbps physical layer device, provides a low power consumption and compact LAN controller. The board also includes two RS-232 serial ports provided by a 16C2550 UART with baud rates of up to 1.5 Mbps.
