WinDriver for Windows
Source: Jungo Ltd.
WinDriver is a driver development toolkit, enabling developers to create high-performance, cross-platform custom device drivers for PCI / Compact PCI / USB / ISA / ISA PnP / EISA under Windows 9x
Features:
- WinDriver's architecture enables you to create your hardware acess application without having to write a kernel mode device driver! Hardware access is done in your application, through the WinDriver interface, maintaining kernel mode performance.
- WinDriver features a unique graphical Wizard, for hardware diagnostics and automatic code generation Hardware access applications you create with WinDriver will run on Windows ME, 95, 98, NT/NT Embedded, 2000, Windows CE, Linux, Solaris, VxWorks and OS/2.
- Use WinDriver's Kernel PlugIn to develop your driver in the User Mode - then run performance critical sections of it in the Kernel Mode (Ring 0) thus achieve Optimal Performance.
- WinDriver also includes remote hardware access capabilities, which enable developers to remotely develop and debug drivers, saving shipment costs and reducing time to market!
- Use WinDriver to write drivers for all common PC buses including PCI/ Compact PCI / USB/ ISA/ ISA PnP/ EISA. No need to use several different tools and learn new APIs to access different types of Buses.
- Use any 32 bit compiler including MSDEV Visual C/C++, gcc, Borland, Delphi and others.
