WinSystems introduces our Panel PC to help speed a customer's project time-to-market. A Panel PC handles all the messy and time-consuming issues of flat panel integration while wrapping it in a sturdy metal frame. Designed as an open frame unit for mounting inside an enclosure the Panel PC's total assembly very flat, only 3.25 inches.

The Panel PC is a compact, full-featured PC that includes a 640 x 480 flat panel VGA display, 133-MHz Pentium-class PC with Ethernet, PC/104 expansion, and optional touch screen. Its foundation is built upon a sturdy yet lightweight black anodized aluminum frame which holds the panel, back-light inverter, touch screen and controller, single board computer (SBC) plus the video adapter card and cables.

PRODUCT FEATURES

An NEC 10.4-inch diagonal, Active Matrix TFT is the standard device used in the Panel PC. The panel provides crisp image quality on a thin flat screen with minimal distortion and high luminance. Computing power is supplied by WinSystems' LBC-586Plus. This SBC provides 133 MHz 5x86 with 256KB of cache, video, 4 serial ports, LPT port, 10Mbps Ethernet, IDE and FDC controllers, 48 digital I/O lines, and up to 288MB using M-Systems' Flash disk. Fully x86-compatible embedded PC, the LBC-586Plus fully supports standard operating systems, real-time executives, utilities, and drivers such as Windows CE/95/98/NT, Linux, ROM-DOS, QNX, VxWorks, and Lynx.
