Xplor Series Personal Digital Controllers

Our entry level model, the Xplor-52 has 12 digital I/O lines and is ideal for projects that require a small and economical controller
The Xplor Series PDCs listed below include the same Xplor Series standard features: an 89C52 (8051 family) CPU with TB52 and utilities in ROM, 8K bytes of EEPROM memory, 5 volt regulator, socketed ICs, and a PC compatible communication/programming port. Other common features include a D-sub I/O connector and an I/O socket block for adding transistors, capacitors and protection resistors (resistors are included).

Xplor-52

Our entry level model, the Xplor-52 has 12 digital I/O lines and is ideal for projects that require a small and economical controller. The Xplor-52 sports all the standard Xplor Series PDC features.

Xplor-52a

The Xplor-52a has 12 digital I/O lines plus an 11 channel, 10-bit A/D converter and a wake-up timer. A wide range of available sensors can be used for measuring temperature, pressure, humidity, etc. Optional temperature and humidity sensors are available that can be installed directly on the Xplor-52a board.

Xplor-52d

For I/O intensive applications, the Xplor-52d has 12 digital I/O lines plus 24 additional digital I/O provided by an 82C55A I/O expander. In addition to the standard D-sub I/O connector, a 16 pin header is available for an LCD/keypad connection.

INTERFACE MODULES

Optional Interface Modules make it easy to connect sensors and peripheral devices. They include screw terminals, a power supply jack, PC COM port connector, and X-10 circuitry with modular connector.
