Ziatech, Force Join Intel Applied Computing Platform Providers Program

Ziatech Corp. and Force Computers, two of the biggest names in CompactPCI computing, have been named as initial participants in the new Intel Applied Computing Platform Providers program.

The Intel ACPP is designed to provide system developers with a reliable source for Intel Architecture based platforms, ranging from board level products to complete system-level solutions. Applied computing refers to market segments consisting of systems designed for connected, high performance dedicated applications that enhance business information on the Internet/intranets.

In order to be selected as an ACPP, both companies had to meet a stringent set of criteria, including quality assurance, design capabilities and manufacturing processes. Companies involved in the program will participate in joint marketing and development activities, which is expected to strengthen the products, and services that result from the relationship.
